| The Band played a concert at Clowes Methodist Church with special guest Euphonium Soloist Stephen Boyes of Her Majesties Royal Marines. The final total was £670 for Help the Heroes. James Kerridge, Principal Cornet, said "When I sent a message to my Cousin Stephen in February I really thought he wouldn't think about coming up to Hull to play a concert with us but unbelievably he came up and put on the concert for tonight. For me it meant a lot playing a concert with my cousin and also to raise money for such a good cause and charity in Help the Heroes. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. Once again thank you all for your support." |
